Your Beauty

Your Beauty

A Poem by Zee Norton-Williams

YOUR BEAUTY

like a drug you supped in

Made my heart want more

more than I thought possible

But when the light fades

You see the truth

How can this b love

I look into your eyes

The window to your soul

I saw your pain

I see you wishing for more

But you don't want to listen to it

Life is full of pain

but hopefully one day you'll see

the beauty It's inside you

Your heart is not stone

It is not cold , It is not hard

It can crumble

And form again

But only if you desire something

more than pain.
