A New Chapter

A New Chapter

A Poem by Zee Norton-Williams

A blank page,
a new capture;
at least that's what they tell you,
But what they forget to tell you is.
A blank page can not write itself
to fully know the story you have to flip back,
once in a while the past will write this empty page
fill it with words from your past they;
 are what made this page possible,
But don't forget you can create a new paragraph,
 every few lines can be a new dream,
a new light, a new day.
You create the words that form the book,
the book that is your life.
Don't fear change, don't fear a new vocabulary;
expand your horizons.
I promise you in life you can never stop improving;
 no matter how fast or how slow.
