An Open Ocean

An Open Ocean

A Poem by Zee Norton-Williams

An ocean

An open canvas

But then

An open casket

You wasn't taught the beauty

You didn't see the love

An ocean of magic to take you away

An ocean of freedom you made

You should have seen the wonders

The ocean the world

Exploring the wonders

Not jumping down

Sinking to the deep

Your heart crushed by the painful waves

The waves that symbolise feelings

The ocean that symbolises the beauty

You should have got to know
