A World Without Me

A World Without Me

A Poem by Zee Norton-Williams

A World Without Me

A world without me would be a world in which you can smile
A world in which you wouldn't need to worry
Not that I do anyway
A mind where I don't pop up
Not that I do anyway
Maybe if you lost me one day you'd regret how you treated me
Would you?
Regret me?
Are you capable of that?
I don't know how to handle life I say and you tell me stop being silly
You say I'm asking for attention
No I never had it
But no I couldn't care less if anything I wish no-one did notice me
Because all you ever see is my mistakes
My anxiety has grown so bad that I wish I was invisible
So please tell me!
How do I crave for attention if I do not want it.
