The Final Goodbye

The Final Goodbye

A Poem by Zee Norton-Williams

The thoughts are spinning their webs
Flying round and round in my head
The final thought
The final hurt
The final cut
The final cry
I let it all out
A note I've wrote so many times
Will this time be the final time
The last breath, the last thought,
the last day, the last night
Will this actually, truly be the day
It all becomes too much?
the screaming, the yelling,
the criticizing, the endless war.
The day I may finally see some peace
The day my world stops spinning,
to harsh for me to think.
Can I finally let out my final breath of peace?
