Scenery Medley contrasts

Marshes and meadows
Sunshine and shadows

Gentle ripples on the calm river
Foaming rapids in white water

The jungle echoes in the semi-darkness
while daylight creepy-crawlies clear the mess.

Peasants toiling and pheasants scratching
as I spy a cricket somersaulting

The cactus the desert's prickly femme-fatale
elsewhere a lone leaf floats in the canal

Prairie dogs go popping
while hares go hopping
and ladies go shopping

Swans have formed a V-line
The flora too is so divine
as bees nosedive in bee-line.

Seista seizes birdlovers too
Thus they miss out on the hoopoe's song
For the hoopoe, it does not sing on cue
since a bird may sing anytime to woo.

What a medley eh of scenery
Murky eve and dawning greenery

Ah, wherever you go nature's so panoramic
While we make and take pictures
God actually made what's so picturesque!

Another lovely poem. Beautifully observed details of contrasts. Nature certainly is so panoramic. It does make one realise how inadequate is mankind in comparison. But we certainly can appreciate God's picturesque scenes. Thank you for writing this poem.

Hmm yeah more will be coming but I have too many Tim e constraints. In your 30s its hard to find time I guess.

Oh you are still young! Still in the 'experiencing life' zone. There will be plenty of time later. Perhaps you could do what I did . Jot down ideas and rough copies now, then, when you have more time, in later years, do some editing and making them into good poems.

I really like the back and forth of poetry. This was fun to read and sprinkled some profound in there. Humans shopping on lands already occupied. I'll have to look up hoopoe. Unless you meant hippo?

This is another amazing work by you Zaynab! God has made this nature which is so charming and enamouring that it shows the beauty of the hands of God! The imagery you created in the mind of readers is wonderful with all peasants working and pheasants scratching and all river, jungle, cactus, prairies, swans are just too much beauty hard to bear. Scenery Medley contrasts"

This poem has the feel of inspiration.
You must of been out somewhere on a hike or picnic or the like.
If so it would of been so rewarding as your poem feels like a walk
through a forest and you were it's witness of delights to the senses!
Really super cute:

God sure does. Yes dear I usually write of what I see and observe in my outings and outdoor or backyard views. I also write on what I see on TV or Internet sometimes.
