The universe

The universe

A Poem by Zayir
"

A little preview on my view of life

"
I live life in the present
I speak the truth like a drunk
I am happy as if I am high
However I am not drunk nor high
When most people look up they see the sky
They are the mislead, blind, misinformed "sheep"
Very few of us look up and see the universe
The universe, millions, billions, trillions years of history
Some may say I have become content
But I actually have become aware of the universe
For I am self realizing
For who am I?
A name?
A label?
A number?
Questions upon questions that few can answer
What is my purpose?
What is life?
Why are we here?
The farther I dive into this "Matrix" the more aware I become
For my time here is limited
I do not know what happens when I die
So I must find my purpose and fulfill it
I must kill my ego
I must balance my chakras
My thoughts and actions are aligned with the universe
The power of the Law of Attraction is at my hands
See for yourself
Maybe you think I am not making sense as if I am high
Maybe the ideas in my head are of drunk fools
But I am neither drunk nor high
So, open your eyes
And again, look up and tell me if all you see is the sky

Splendid work Zayir!
Love it how you say "I speak the truth like a drunk"....
I got a total different read from what I'd thought...and am happy...the title and the poem blends into a perfect thought...Now, no matter how much they say "I love this poem" yet I love it more than them😀!
Keep up the great works :)

Look to the heavens and catch the stars admiring themselves through your
eyes, whilst the universe vibrates through your body to feel the night
breeze on it's face, with an understanding we are indivisible. I understand your poem, Phill.

I love this! It presents a lot of questions we as humans ask, too!
