In Love With You

In Love With You

A Poem by Ser Arthur Dayne

He demands your affection in the most haughtily fashion, whereas I’m content with what you niggardly give.

In ours ways we are both irrevocably in love with you.

He tells you how you are the one for him, I feel that too, yet I never tell you.

In ours ways we are both hopelessly in love with you.

He does clever things to you with his tantalizing tongue, whereas I’m only clever with my words.

In our ways we are both passionately in love with you.

He parades you around in front of the world, whereas I can’t bear to share you with anyone.

In ours ways we are both selfishly in love with you.

He lays bare his insecurities in front of you, whereas I put on a brave face for you, no matter what storm inside me brews.

In our ways we are both amazingly in love with you.

He knows just what to say to you, yet all my verses fade in comparison to your hue.

In ours ways we are both madly in love with you.

We he holds your hand, he feels that it’s his right, when I hold it I feel it’s a blessing divine.

He loves you, but only I am truly in love with you.
