Dark Dreams

You know, it is an odd coincidence to be a gamer and a writer I think but, I am what I am. This poem came from inspiration from various video games that I have played over the years. Please enjoy.

Dark Dreams

Seen not by those who don’t look
Dangerous and hidden from them she seeks
Her poison would kill a shark in less than a minute
A man would drop in less than ten seconds
You don’t see her
You don’t hear her
If you do however
She will be the last thing you will see on this Earth

Her cloths reflect her soul
She dresses in tight black leather
Wears a black mask to conceal her face
Her eyes are lined with the blackest ink
So only her green orbs are seen by her targets

What does she have to fear?
Not the blood
The blood never washes away
Only a small price to pay
Cruel or just lost?

A heart beats below her breast
Always steady always calm
A true mark of her trade
No not cruel nor lost
Just calm always calm

She always carried two blades
Never bloodstained
Never dull
Oppressed at one time,
Burned it was forever into her left hand

She is known to many by many names
Her name is unique
Only she carries it
Her mother died with her name
She is the only one left who knows it
