A poem for someone special to me

I wish from the depths of my heart

That I could bring her from the dark

The light she shines she does not keep

For her self but for others to seek

I wish I could keep her here with me

And take away all the pain and show her what I see

And tell her that she's beautiful every day

I wish only for a way

To make her smile for all her days

The most gentle heart I have ever known

And all the good she's shown

She deserves a happy life

And though I know not if I can still I strive

To make her day more bright

She to me is the best person in my life
