A poem for someone special to me

Her voice softly soothes me with her grace

I look upon her truly amazed

For she is truly to me divine

Our meetings seem as if the stars aligned

And to me she has it all

Beauty, brains and kindness most of all

And within me deep inside

I know she shines a light that I find

She is everything and more

The one who makes me feel so much more

And awakens deep within me

A life that I thought had been deceased

For she gives me hope each day

And for this I hope to stay

I am grateful to be her friend

And I hope it will never end

She is the light in my life

And every day she makes me right

She in me what she sees

It burns a desire to be better as she envisions me

I'd do all I can for her as long as I remain

For she is all that keeps me sane

Her light shines ever bright

And guides me through the night

I wish only for her to see

Through my eyes how amazing she can be
