Fade away

A short poem I wrote

Take away my smile 

I stare at the walls awhile

I lay here without release

My mind knows no peace

Pulsating through my brain

And through my veins

Twisted me from inside

I turn away from pride

And at last I break

All hope I forsake

Nearing the end of time

My heart never again to shine

As my hope dies

From your last lie

I slowly fade away

And alone here I lay
