"Note #1"

"Note #1"

A Poem by Raef

"Where to begin,
Before I shuffle off,
My mortality beckons me to
Look back and wonder at all
The fish I might have caught
Had I cast a net."
Eh, screw that.

Okay, okay, erm...
"Clock, tick,
Tick is the word of the hour,
The hour is nigh and the night is naught but the ticking of the clock
That says the time is nigh."
Better, I guess.

Hmm...
"A mist that veils,
Veils but what?
Why, the mind."

What the hell...?

Okay, okay, one last one.
"Reckon high, reckon low,
The tide does follow , row
And row the paddle back, and forth
The tide will know
The row with the things
We know as tides."
Eh, enough for today.

I guess.
