Heavy Burdens

Heavy Burdens

A Poem by zariamichele

Heavy Burdens

Soft touches in whispering light;

How my walls break for you.

My fingers ache from carrying the weight of my burdens;

Lifting them onto a naive pen.

Just to watch my pain spill out messily onto innocent paper;

Like blood on my old tile floor.

You ease the heaviness.

Well done. You articulate well. This is a situation that is easy to relate to. i like that you use few words to describe a complicated set of feelings.
