The Wish I Made

 I lay on the grass looking up in the night sky

The stars gleaming and sparkling like the sun had

I think about my future and what lays ahead

I wish for my dream to come true

but for that to happen i have to work hard

If i fail once try again, if i fail twice do it again

Never give up

I look at a star light-years away,

Yet it gleams so bright and with such beauty 

It's light never gives up 

It shines so bright

That's going to be me,

For my wish will come true

My life is important no matter what anyone says 

I will be successful for i made a wish

but for that wish to come true,

I must not give up and i must work hard

for nothing is free, 

but an education that you earn 

I'll never give up

I'll reach for the sky

and shall be one of the brightest,

for i made a wish to never give up
