A Force To Be Reckoned WithA Poem by Cats Eye
Hearts beating
Pulses rushing
Time around slowing down
Objects around disappearing
The sense of exhilaration
Just that of adrenaline
The pounding hooves
Just makes hearts skip
Sweat soaked necks
Gleam in the sun
Huge in takes of breath
Cause such speed
The desert floor begins to tremble
Amongst the sheer force
Everything the lay’s in their wake
Moves to let the by.
