Lies

Lies

A Poem by Cats Eye

These lies I hear
Are so unholy

These lies I see
Leave me unbelieving

This world, this life, the people around me
Is nothing but lies

The good pastors are nothing but wolves
Who hide in sheep’s clothing

Quietly waiting, slowly stalking their prey
They wait for right moment to capture

The world is slowly
Beginning to fade away.
