A Rose In The Night

A Rose In The Night

A Poem by Cats Eye

A lone rose bush stands
In a grassy field
Open to review its full beauty

The moon beats down upon it
Making it radiate
With the moon’s silver glow

Morning dew creeps upon it
Resting upon its petals
Sitting like silent tear drops

The beauty of that single bush
Allows everyone around to see
That although evil may lurk all around them

There is always one thing of beauty near by.
