Oh How I Wish

Something I wrote for the man I love.

 

Oh how I wish

To be wrapped in his arms

Listening to his heart beat

 

Oh how I wish

To hear his lovely voice

That soothes me when I’m angered

 

Oh how I wish

To see his smiling face

That always lights a hidden smile upon my face

 

Oh how I wish

To see his brown eyes

And see how they dazzle

 

Oh how I wish

To intertwine my fingers with his

As he walks by my side

 

Oh how I wish

To hear his voice, see his face, take in his sent

                     Every single day.
