Why the Children?

Why the Children?

A Poem by Cats Eye

Why lord?
He was so young
In the prime of his youth

He suffered so much
Those last few months
Yet he never let it show

He fought to the end
Making every minute last
He showed everyone the will to live

His suffering has now ended
The love for him will stay
He’s gone to a better place

Yet we still ask
Why lord?
Why him?
Why was he chosen to die that way?

It is so very horrible to lose a child in any circumstances and the love you hold for this child shines through your every word. I lost a grandaughter with a disability and she was fed through tubing only and although she was suffering her loss was not any easier. She will always be in our hearts and minds for sure. Our Jade Lee was a beauty for sure but I think that we all learn different things in our lives when we have this kind of suffering. I pray that you will have peace of mind soon my friend. So sad...the death of a little one from a horrible disease is indeed a vicous way to die. I've never had to go through that loss but i can understandyours. God works in ways not meant for us to understand...at least you can live with the knowledge that he is in heaven. Maybe god was trying o make those close to him stronger through this all...maybe he has a plan for them. I know not. Neways great job here, kep on a writing!
