Please Stop, That Hurts.

Please Stop, That Hurts.

A Poem by Cats Eye

A father comes home from work
He’s had a bad day once again
The child comes out from his room at the wrong time

He goes to school the next day
With bruises covering his body
He covers up the teachers questions with lies

The teacher calls a conference
The father comes in calmly
But leaves frustrated

The father enters the child’s room
And beats him as he sleeps
The next day he doesn’t awake from his slumber

The father is placed in jail
The child is placed in the ground
They’re both in a better place now

He sits up in the clouds
With the Lord his new father
Standing beside him
Showing him love he never new before.

It is a touching story indeed - a story or a real one?

A few words and a few lines, tell the whole story! Well done. I like it especially the ending,

"He sits up in the clouds
With the Lord his new father
Standing beside him
Showing him love he never new before."
