Hidden Treasures

Hidden Treasures

A Poem by Zan

What some may see
and simply pass by -
overlook,
ensnares me
with rapt desire
unblinking, unwavering
appraisal.
For it may seem to me
in the Pirate's map of life
that wrecks ships on shores of silver
and makes beggars of gold and riches
there are certain hidden treasures
for only me to see
and yet I need no crewmen
and yet I need no map
for to find them is all too easy
living alongside you.
