lucid dream

lucid dream

A Poem by Zan

the lucid dream; a feather's touch
drew ripple across still glass lake of consciousnesses
silent wind whispered smoke-veiled thoughts
turned restless, and confronted by eminent glow

translucent by the light,
through my own skin i watched swirl my soul
writhing within
as if my own body was its imprisonment

i raised my hands to ward off the blow
but to dust they shattered like glass
inkdrop tear traced the contours of my face
and blackened the light within
