Black Book

Black Book

A Poem by Zan

in a black book with lock and key
there i hide my insanity

my words in ink they dripped
and across shadowed pages flow
smeared like blood under my fist
stacks of letters, row on row

in the darkest depth of shadow left I
this book that betrayed me so
my inner workings displayed inside
for readers my desires to know
