So Good to be Home

So Good to be Home

A Poem by Zan

Oh the willows whispered

And the cattails sighed

The grass bent before the wind

The howling in my mind

And the shadow on the drive

Sang silent notes of pride

That figure turned away

Bowing, broken, ghostly, shy
