Butterfly Snows

Butterfly Snows

A Poem by Zan

Snowflakes drifting in the dark
caressing cheeks, lashes, lips
butterfly kisses
they land on the windshield
tears they splash
the black wiper blades
that fling them to the pavement
black as the night
where the streetlamps don't glow.
