Stained

Stained

A Poem by Zan

A butterfly kissed my lips
velvet soft wings caressing my cheeks
bleeding its colour onto my skin
and it crumpled there
dead in the eyes of the world
but living on in the layers of my tissue
that it stained.

I love this piece. Seems to have such a deep but beautiful meaning. I am obsessed with butterflies and their meaning so this jewel you've created was a joy to read. I love how the butterfly left parts of itself in your blood so that it could still live but inside your being. Beautiful! Just one thing ~ {And I'm not one to critic people at all} but the butterfly needs its extra ' t ' no biggie I make the same mistakes lol.
