Little Crystals

Little Crystals

A Poem by Zan

The snowflakes are like little crystals
dangling from the trees.
Icicles atop the branches,
snow instead of leaves.
They glitter and glow
in the morning light
along with the snow
fallen freshly just last night.
The snowflakes are like little crystals,
they appear so to me;
so fresh and white, soft and bright,
and I would give them to thee
if only my little crystals
were diamonds in your jewelry .

How should I separate the lines? There's a bunch of rhyming "schemes" you might call them that don't really fit together... thoughts?
