Inspiration

A Poem by Zan

Golden tendrils spread across violet wings

branching outward in silky strands.

Daintily flying through a land of dreams,

gossamer wings beat rhythmically.

Gliding, circling, flying high

vibrant butterfly of imagination

lands lightly on a single blossom.

White, pure, pristine petals

unfolding around a golden centre

uncurling in beauty and freedom.

Infinitive hues of colour imbue

silky petals inner sides.

Dew beads emerald grass,

pearl clouds drift in sapphire sky

ruby leaves float down swift diamond river

Vibrant butterfly perches lightly

on pristine blossom.

Though not always clear

pure and true is inspiration.

I'm worried it's a little too... "touchy-feely" or "girly" or whatever... what do you think?
