Fantasy: Chapter 12: CampA Chapter by Linis Arizen Camp: My eyes shot open, I quickly sit up, I feel a quick jerk as I my sudden movement scared Cat and caused her to jerk the wheel, which jerked the car. I breathed heavily as my back goes numb. Cat looks at me and Jack sits up. “Hun you ok?” I look at Cat with a sincere look, “Yea I’m fine, just…a bad dream is all…” “Wanna talk about it?” “No its ok hun, I just fell from something and yea…” “Oh ok…well...we’re a few hours away from home” “Mmk…” I looked back out the window. The sky was a dull blue as the sun’s yellow glow dampens the blue. Time in the real world and the dream world is very different. Two days away from Crieo and a few hours away from home. Then again I could be thinking on it too much, I shook my head and looked out the window again. I notice a faint scar on my cheek and neck from where the arrow nicked me. I wonder who fired the arrow though. I sat back and watched the scenery go by. I slowly shut my eyes. As I let the darkness consume me. I open my eyes slowly, feeling a slight pain in my back, I looked around the tent. Shade was lying on a small box, my swords were leaning against the box and my dagger on Shade. I sat up and put on my boots. I peer outside, it was daytime. I stood and stretched, we were out of the woods. I looked around, Craven was nowhere. I walked up to the remains of the fire. We were on the outskirts of vast field of blue, red and purple flowers. I turned around and faced a path that lead down a small hill to the left of the camp. I followed the path to a small brush area, I started to walk through the brush. It was a thick brush and I fought and pressed through and finally came to a small pond. It was about thirty feet across and looked like it went seven feet deep. I walked up to the edge, and looked into the water. It was clear, and cool to the touch. I looked around the pond it was surrounded by brush and trees, a hidden pond. I stood up and looked over my shoulder as I heard movement. The water moved abit, I squinted as I saw something move under the water I turned around and tilted my head, I then realized I didn’t bring my weapons. I stared at the water as someone jumped out from underneath it, my eyes widen, and my cheeks felt hot. I stood there as Seria jumped out of the water, she locked eyes with me, her cheeks were a dull red, I wanted to move, but I couldn’t. Her eyes widen as she quickly covered herself and ducked into the water, her head was above the water. “Oh Um..ah…ahem!” I shook my head and stumbled backwards abit, I lost balance and fell, landing on my a*s. I sat up and shut my eyes quickly, “I’m soooo Sorry!” “Its ok….I didn’t think you were up…” I heard her voice. It was smooth, and majestic. I heard her walk pass me. “Ok you can look again…” I stood up and opened my eyes, I turned around and looked at her, she was still blushing and I’m sure I was aswell. She had a cloth around her. “So um….yea this is awkward…” She nodded in agreement. “I’m a…gonna go back to camp….I’ll let you finish up…” I began walking up through the brush and back to the camp, I sat down by the fire pit. After a few minutes went by Seria walked up, she had on a black short top shirt that had tight short sleeves and had on tight short shorts. She walked up and sat next by me. “So, why are you here Seria?” I looked at her after a few minutes of silence. “I need to deliver something to a Weapon smith in Crieo. I was going to make the journey alone but I ran into your friend Lucia.” My eyes widen, Lucia’s here? And Seria? What!? I shook my head, “Lucia came with you?” She nodded, “Yea, she’s been following you guys to try and catch up, she ran into me in Gilloim and we were heading in the same direction so yea….” “Ahhhh…cool. The more the merrier haha” I smiled as she smiled. “So Leon, tell me about yourself, you don’t seem like every other Breic.” I looked down at the question, unsure on how to answer it. I rub the back of my head, “Ehh not much to tell, Craven found me and we’ve been adventuring since” That is kind of the truth. She nodded, “Ahh cool” As she sat there I noticed her tail, now that I think about it Torvas had a tail too. But Lucia didn’t have a tail. I looked at Seria as she stared into the sky. She looked like she was nineteen. She looked very beautiful, her hair flowed in the wind with grace, and her eyes they seem to just pierce right through everything. “Um…its rude to stare hehe” I shook my head again as her voice broke my train of thought, “Oh uh I was uh…umm…” “Hehe its ok Leon hehe, hey Leon, you still haven’t stopped blushing hehe” she giggled and smiled as she pointed to my cheeks and made a swirl motion with her finger. I buried my face in my arms when she said that. I then notice her stand up, I turn and stand, over the hill Craven and Lucia walk up. Craven sat down across from me, and Lucia across from Seria. I nodded and smiled at Lucia as she does the same. Craven looked over to me, “As you’ve noticed we’ve gained two travel partners. They will be traveling with us to Crieo and from there they can go or stay that’s up to them and what happens from here and then. We’ll be leaving here in abit. So get ready to pack things up.” Craven stands up and walks over to the tent and goes inside. I look at Lucia and Seria. Seria stands up and walks over to her gear. She began putting on a dark blue light leather armor. The torso covered here chest and stomach and had small pads on the shoulders. The leggings covered her hips but left her inner thighs exposed. She put on a pair of black leather boots that stopped right below her knee. She then picked up a short sword and a bow and put a quiver of arrows over her shoulder, looks like I found out who shot the arrow. I looked over to Lucia, she was already wearing her gear. She wore dark brown medium armor. The torso had studded leather the covered her chest and stomach and on her sides she had chain mail. She didn’t have any shoulder pads, and the armor covered her upper arm. She had on two bracers and had an arm shield on her right hand. Her leggings were like Seria’s but there was chain mail at her inner thighs. She had a thick sword slung over her back, it was as long as a longsword but had a wider blade, not so wide, but wider by a few inches. And to her right side she had a slightly carved blade that was as long as a longsword aswell. Craven walked out of the tent in his usually gear, I stood up and walked into the tent and got my gear on aswell. After I got my gear on I stepped outside and looked at them, now I know what I want. I don’t want to leave.
