Liberty In My Backyard

Liberty In My Backyard

A Poem by Zammy Whiz
"

The prisoners could only save themselves, none but themselves.

"
I stared at the forefront forest,
Accompanied by thick darkness,
the hum of the insects,
delightedness fills from within,
as I harken to their joyful voices, of freedom and liberties.

I am wide awake,
I wanted to die, but,
these thoughts are heavy, like an anchor,
my head hurts from its huge burden.
the thought was tremendous,
so tremendous,
the inevitable hibernation state,
couldn't welcome me.

My immovable gaze upon the land,
ruled by servitude, but
the masses too stuck to see,
too dumb to feel,
too weak to fight.
In my backyard,
glut liberty and freedom,
the delightedness the insects can't deny.

Who would save these people,
their past heroes were crucified,
all given up to treachery.
because they despise revolution,
the fear of change and suffering,
blooms at the prison corners.
Crucifixion is the sacrifice,
to those willing to infuse the void,
bear responsibility. rouse,
and lead them to victory.
