Life

Life

A Poem by Zall
"

Life is a dangerous thing; embrace it.

"
Rebel, Rebel,
Look what you're doing,
See all the excitement you bring.
Light to their eyes,
And wonder and glee.
I think this could be,
And dangerous thing.

Little girl,
Oh young child,
Look at the traps set out before you.
See all the trips and stumbles that lye,
Just waiting to trip you on their dangerous twine.
I think this could be,
The most dangerous game.

Mother and Father,
Do you not see,
That pain that this brings me,
I'm wishing to flee.
The Rebel and Girl they do not see,
How this really is,
A dangerous thing.

Danger, Danger,
The Rebel laughs in your face,
The Girl smiles in your wake.
I have no more pain,
No more fear or sorrows.
For I know I control,
My dangerous game.
