Dead One's Heart

Dead One's Heart

A Poem by Zall
"

Can you hear it? Can you feel it? I can.

"

Dead One’s Heart
Shh,
Can you hear it?
Can you feel it?
The steady beat of a dead one’s heart,
Thumpthumpthump
It beats so slow,
A rhythmic comfort,
For stories untold,
Stories waiting to unfold,
They haunt you in the dead of night,
Just waiting to give you a fright,
First you’ll hear the sound,
Thumpthumpthump
The deadly beat of a dead one’s heart,
The deafening, silencing, quivering,
Of a dead one’s heart,
Shh,
Can you hear it?
Can you feel it?

Sorry if it's bad. Just an idea I had while in class one day.
