Story Of Roses

They never knew what they did to win the other's heart, but it happened, starting with a single rose.

Story Of Roses

Welcome,
To my story of roses,
I know you won’t understand,
What I’m trying to tell you,
But each time I get your rose,
On my desk,
On my doorstep,
On my dresser,
I smile sadly,
Knowing you’re trying,
To win my heart,
You don’t know,
You’ll never know,
That I kept the roses,
Each and every one,
I dried them out and stored then away,
In a box marked with ‘love’,
In big bold letters,
Stored safely away,
For another day,
When another rose comes,
On my desk,
On my doorstep,
On my dresser,
I smile sadly,
Knowing you’re trying,
To win my heart,
You don’t know,
You’ll never know,
That with each rose,
My heart was yours to keep,
Forever and ever,
So welcome,
To my story of roses,
I know you won’t understand,
What I’m trying to tell you,
But each time I get your rose,
I whisper “I love you too”,
Into the wind,
Hoping it’ll get back to you,
So I say welcome,
To my story of roses,
As I say “I love you”.

Zall
If I didn't know how to tell somebody I loved them, this is how I'd do it. Sorry if it's bad.
