Ripple Effect

Ripple Effect

A Poem by Zall
"

Words are dangerous, coming back around, back to where they started.

"

Ripple Effect
Words,
Create a ripple effect,
Just like a pebble,
Hitting the water,
Disturbing more than the point intended,
They affect the people around them,
Changing the people around,
Hurting more than the point intended,
A hateful spat,
Unknowing when,
Or where,
They will show up again,
Coming around,
And back again,
As a new set of words,
Creating another ripple effect,
Just like a pebble,
Hitting the water.

Absolutely true, and not bad at all :)
poetry can never be bad!
nicely written, good analogy!

No it's not bad. I like it very much. But I'd turn it round and make the words much loved. Some poems we just go back to time and time again, because we love them. They are definitely benign ripplers. I like the notion very much though. Some malign spirts make words dangerous ... Hitler for one. But the words themselves are innocent.
