Dance With Death

Dance With Death

A Poem by Zall
"

Taking chances, and dacing with Death

"

Dance With Death
You took the chance,
You took his hand,
And you danced with Death,
But before the song ended,
You released his hand,
You stepped away,
Only to take the same chance,
When the next song came,
And once again,
You were dancing with Death,
Continuing the cycle,
Continuing your game,
Of ding-dong-ditch,
And Death was staying,
Waiting for your one mistake,
The mistake you would make,
And finish the song,
Finish your dance with Death,
You took that chance,
“Just once more,” is all you said,
Before taking his hand,
And dancing with Death.
