Two Sides Of A Mirror

Two Sides Of A Mirror

A Poem by Zall
"

To every person, there is another side. A side that is always lurking around the corrner; waiting to come out.

"

Two Sides of a Mirror
When I look in the mirror,
I see me.
You don’t see me.
Only I see me.
You see the mask I wear;
You don’t see me.
When I look in the mirror,
I see my shattered side,
Not who you see.
You believe the smile, the laugh, the regular girl.
I don’t believe;
I don’t see.
When I look in the mirror,
It has two sides.
The person I am,
 And the person I pretend to be.
The mirror shows two sides;
Me inside and out.
It’s as if half of me is smiling,
And the other a scowl.
If one eye twinkles,
Then the other stares flat.
Half of me sees the world,
While the other half sees an image.
A mirror shows two sides;
An image and the real deal.
When looking in a mirror,
Try and see the second world;
Because a mirror has two sides.

It's not bad. The style is very unique, and from a philosophical viewpoint I found it intrigueing.
