Eternity of a Second

Time is an illusion; and all of us fall under the spell.

Each second ticks longer, each minute drags on

Each hour becomes eternity, each day a thousand fold

Each month a life of the universe, completing its evermore

But each year flashes like the stars that fall

Across the sky in the blink of an eye

And in this paradox, an impossibility

We live a thousand forevers

In each of our lifetimes.
