Sky

Sky

A Poem by Zalinthel
"

Anything I tell you is meaningless, only you can decide what my words mean.

"

The stars glanced back at me, returning my staring gaze in their glittering, peaceful way

The grass beneath my back as I lay taking in the wonders of the night sky, beholding the wonder.

The trees blew in the light breeze that kissed the landscape like the touch of a goddess,

Giving the tranquility a sense of divinity in the light of the moon, which shined like a silver sun in the sky

I sighed, and closed my eyes, and listened to the heart beat of the planet, and, in nature’s beauty

I find peace the likes of which any mortal man would envy
