StareA Story by ZnonymousThis is just a random piece of writing that i might use in a short story i'm trying to write. Please tell me what you thinkI remember the day, I stared into his eyes. I saw no emotion, his face was just blank. I could feel his sin, it was as bitter as gin. He just sat there………. It was as if he felt no fear It was as if…….. he was in another dimension It just bothered me…… he hurt so many And he just didn't care You could just feel the hate The more he stayed quiet the more they wanted to riot Then it happened He was sentenced to death The families cried tears of closure The prosecutors proud of their victory But something just wasn't right His stare was no longer blank He had a smirk And as everything quieted down and the judge asked him for his final statement He just looked up and smiled, and said something that still haunts me to this day,” Thank you.” © 2014 ZnonymousAuthor's Note
