Far Off Bridges Make Me CryA Poem by Mindless MindsetI'm running nowhere again...
If we were to hold our breath
Until we pass out I think I might leave myself And travel the world in my sleep And the wind will whisk my soul Into the skies above us Singing travelers songs of long ago That echo these lost years Yes I'll run to them These places where they'll lie Now I'll run to them To the ones I've left behind Set aside our tears And fears of the future that we hold To follow the dark windy paths That lead to somewhere That somewhere... The place where I left them How do we get there I wonder? "Follow the dark windy paths" But I feel so safe here But I still must find them So I'll cry here for now Until I become strong Then I'll run to them The ones that I left behind Yes I'll run to them The ones left in the light If we were to hold our breath Until we pass out I think I might leave myself And travel the world in my sleep Down the dark windy paths And into the light in which you are © 2010 Mindless MindsetAuthor's Note
