Akane Secret

Akane Secret

A Poem by Mindless Mindset
"

When will we open it?

"

Where do these ends close for the beginning?
The change in seasons is eminent and noticeable
Deep colors and weather of autumn are pouring in with this aging scenery
But the secrets are still kept silently

In this place we had found so long ago
There was a box drowning in a sea of leaves and wilting grass
We became burdened with the desire of it's mysteries
But we couldn't open it

What exactly can you do?
When there is not key to found for a lock?
There is no code of riddle to be solved
And it seems as if there's an invisible unbreakable chain around it

Where does time seem to go when you're searching for something
Something that you're not even sure what it is
It may not even really exist
Everything seems to leave you behind as you wait in vain for nothing

An entire year has passed since we found that box in that place
And now here we are again surrounded in the newly turned trees
Still searching for the secret to the mysteries of that box
And still living in a loop that we can't seem to break

Until we finally open it...

Author's Note

Mindless Mindset
This was inspired by the beautiful song Akane by my lovely Nightmare. It's one of the first songs I heard by them way in the beginning. I LOVE THIS SONG! It's so beautiful and the scenery in the video is simply GORGEOUS! It's this fall look and all the colors are these amazing shades of red and green and orange and brown. And then there's this box that everyone seems to find. I have a box just like it so I thought of this poem for it.
