A Haunted Past

A Haunted Past

A Poem by PIG-RHCP
"

When a close friend of mine was going through a rough time like me and then she dropped a bombshell..and now i never see her.

"
When I was angry I would
Release all of my problems on you
I was too close-minded to see
That you had been suffering too

And when you made an attempt
I would turn my back on you
Like I felt you were doing to me
I just wanted you to know from my point of view

To think I thought I knew it all
So you told me all and then I saw
Our friendship was bound to fall
My back was up against the wall

You were told we should be over
To think she didn't even know me
You let her control what was done
And then you were put in down by the quays

This was a while ago now
And you and I, we barely see
Each other and that is okay
But sometimes the way I treated you still haunts me

Because none of this could ever have been

To think I thought I knew it all
So you told me all and then I saw
Our friendship was bound to fall
My back was up against the wall

I'd like to apologize, I was in a bad way
And I also knew that you were too
I wanted you to know how much I had been hurting
But some of your troubles, I didn't have a clue

To think I thought I knew it all
So you told me all and then I saw
Our friendship was bound to fall
My back was up against the wall

To think I thought I knew it all
So you told me all and then I saw
Our friendship was bound to fall
My back was up against the wall
