Discordant

My favorite type of music.

To be able to strike a chord

And know that it’s wrong

But continue anyway

And make a song

 

That is how discordance is born

Through that one act

Of keeping one wrong note

And making it not crack

 

A discordant melody

Can be beautiful

If given a chance

One has only…to listen
