Gentle Night for Waiting DawnA Poem by RekainA spring poemClear, crisp nights And gentle, caressing breeze Stars streaking the midnight sky As winter's sun bids goodbye And rebirth's moon shows Letting all know The morrow is a change When flowers bloom In red and blue And many hues When birds and bees fill the air And little critters here and there Snakes basking in warming rays And people coming out to play When the weather isn't cold and dreary Nor is it hot and searing In fact, it is just right But that lies beyond tonight For now we have the moon's light Bidding us all a good night And promising spring for tomorrow's eyes Upon dawn's early rise.
