To no Where

There they flew in the clouds

All happy as can be

Floating high above so everyone can see

There they were as free as they were

Nothing to care for, but each other

Floating above in the nighttime sky 

there was a soft whisper of a cannon

Awoke the lovers scared and in despair

But to their fear came true

as the projectile flew

And flew as it did 

There was no escaping

There the lovers lay in each others arms

awaiting the time

Where they both would leave.

this is amazing. at first the poem seems so gentle and nice, and than made a total turn and got heavy, great job i loved it.
