Dead DancesA Poem by Zackery Alan Daley
Oh,
She dances on water. So damn hot, she's gotta be the Sun's daughter, But I caught her, believe it or not, I took the shot. I told her to leave her arms alone, no more "cutters". Let's compare scars and then share 'em. Just talking to you is a Godsend, We have nothing in common, At first I was quite astonished. Like how you are straight, and I smoke chronic. Shes cool, cool with that: "Just don't let it affect US Zack..." She dances on water. Walking on it now doesn't seem like a bother. The way she twirls and unfurls, Doesn't just make me want her, I want to flutter away, Make everything okay...
