Just an Outcast

Just an Outcast

A Poem by Zachary Dary

I've finally figured it out.
After years of soul searching.
I've discovered me.
I am a person that needs to be loved.
Yet no one could ever love me.
I can love others.
Yet no one cares enough to love me.
So I guess I'm not unlovable.
I'm just an outcast.

I think too many people feel this way, they think they have done enough soul searching to know who they are, but somehow they still don't love themselves enough to see how wonderful they truly are. This piece feels way too personal for you to say you didn't or don't feel this way, but honestly you're contradicting your earlier lines, you haven't discovered yourself if you think you're an outcast.

P.s. Even outcast can be loved.

Anyway, very very well penned. definitely an interesting read

Even if I don't necessarily agree with your words i do still think this was beautifully penned. Excellent write!

I feel this poem could afford to be re-looked at and maybe mentally resolved, no-one is incapable of being loved my friend.
