Around, AroundA Poem by ZDMusgroveJust a little something I wrote.
Around, around the hands go
With a tick and tock, And a chime with each round. Second by second, Minute by minute, Hour by hour. A counter of time Fluent in all three. Around, around the hands go When they stop everyone goes And with them a beautiful chime. Grandfather to all And father to none. A relative of wood Not of flesh. Around, around the hands go Counting time as they go. Never stopping in fear Someone may be late. © 2015 ZDMusgroveAuthor's Note
