Don't you hear?A Poem by ZDMusgroveJust a little something I thought of after watching "Forgotten World."
Don't you hear the beat of the war drums?
They thunder through this land. They mark a change That is coming. Don't you hear the beast stirring? It claws and fangs are ready For the unsuspecting prey. The blood lust consumes it. Don't you hear the screams? The woeful cry out in terror, The tortured shrill their pain, And the wrathful shout their rage. Don't you feel the storm brewing? The waves are rising up, The sky is darkening, And the thunder boasts is strength. Don't you hear the dead waking? They are calling out For what they deserve. Their souls can not rest. Don't you hear it all? Atlas is beginning to grow weak. The world is about to fall Into the ever dark abyss.
